We’re glad you found your way here.

In genealogy, ancestor biographies, old newspaper clippings, faded documents, and cemetery photos come together to help paint the picture of who we are and where we came from. But every so often, in between the dates and details, something deeper begins to emerge—the quiet sense that these stories are not just about the past, but about how we carry it forward.

It’s part archive, part tribute, part compendium of research ideas, part research toolbox—and always a work in progress. And perhaps, in its own way, part reflection: a space to consider how the lives that came before us shape who we are today.

Our Roots and Branches section features family military records, vital records (birth, marriage, death), obituaries, and headstone images—some carefully saved over generations, some newly uncovered. Each piece adds another thread to the story, preserving not just names and dates, but the resilience, choices, and experiences that echo through time.

Heirloomed - where history is woven into legacy.

There is something quietly grounding about this work. Studies suggest that exploring our ancestry can strengthen identity, build resilience, and even help us recognize patterns—both the ones we’re proud to carry on, and the ones we may choose to gently set down.

Here, you may find more than records. You may find questions.
What did they endure? What did they overcome?
What strengths—or wounds—have traveled through the generations?

Some visitors find meaning in pausing with these discoveries—through reflection, journaling, or simply sitting with a story long enough to let it speak. Others notice small moments of intuition along the way… a name that keeps appearing, a record found just when it’s needed. However you experience it, you’re welcome to explore that space here, too.

Whether you’re a relative, a fellow researcher, or just someone who stumbled across a connection—welcome. Feel free to look around, reach out, and share your own pieces of the story if you have them. We’re always happy to meet more branches of the tree.

Because in the end, this work is not only about remembering where we come from…
it’s about understanding how those roots continue to shape the lives we are living today.
